During Super Bowl LVII, NERDS introduced an entirely new animated character that embodies the spirit, flavor, and multisensorial qualities of their candy juggernaut, the NERDS Gummy Cluster. The Super Bowl Spot was such a hit that our audience was yearning to see the next chapter of their adventure, so we gave the people what they wanted. Our next spot, “Gummy Monster”, was a not-so-scary take on the monster movie genre where the “crunch” of the NERDS Gummy Cluster awakens the beast, introducing our Gummy character with the stomp of his bulbous red foot to the city’s population of colorful NERDS characters.
